heart rate variability application!!!!

here is some more info related to HRV and optional software to measure it and sample it. But seriously, all we need is a sensor that can be put on the wrist or chest and transmit info in real time or store data….before transfering via bluetooth to handheld device….thoughts?

In order to test the proposition that yoga can change HRV we built a custom version of the MEDAC System/3 (NeuroDyne Medical Corporation, Cambridge,
MA) that allowed eight subjects to be monitored simultaneously for HRV. Data were sampled at 250 samples/s and the interbeat interval (IBI) determined. Normalization of IBI values was carried out using the standard
algorithms in the Log-a-Rhythm HRV analysis software, version 3.0 (Nian-
Crae, Inc., Cambridge, MA).
